I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Centre of Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in West London (Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education – The Place for Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy), and I am a Registered Member MBACP of BACP. This means that I comply with ongoing requirements regarding continuing professional development and ethical principles, values and good practice. I currently focus my professional development on a Postgraduate Diploma in Transpersonal Couple Counselling and Psychotherapy training course at CCPE, London.
I have experience of working in the charity, NHS and private sector with clients of a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, age groups and personal stories in both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy contexts.
Throughout my life I have been interested in the human psyche and how and why we make the choices we do. Before my consulting career, I studied for a PhD in Consumer Psychology/ Marketing at Cardiff Business School, University of Wales.
Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I spent 20 years working in corporate and management consulting roles so I know about the stresses that modern, urban life and jobs can bring to our lives.
My life experience – both personal and professional – has given me the ability to relate directly and with empathy to many of the issues and problems that individuals present with in therapy.
I live and work in Central London.
